Woot Woot! It must be summertime
Good times ahead as always, so please hop on for the ride! Our regular gigs continue...at Dr. Ho's just south of the big C'ville, Fellini's #9 right downtown, and Coup de Ville's for our monthly dose of college shindigs. Coup's has graduated us from the groovy mood terrarium that is the porch to the outside patio for summer. Special guests have appeared by surprise and good fortune, as Bill Adams joined us at Dr. Ho's in June and Darrell Rose sat in with us on drums for a few songs at Fellini's. Speaking of Mr. Rose, he and the International Councillors will close out a wonderful lineup for the first annual Reading Rocks music festival on August 2nd. You'll be hearing much more about that real soon, but in the meantime check out the festival site and get your tickets now. But just to get you warmed up....the fine folks at The Covesville Store have another fantastic Covesville Music Festival on July 19th! Junior will be joined by the Acme Swing Company, Rivanna River Chiggers, and more special surprise musical guests. This is always a good time, so please come out, grab some good food, shop for amazing deals on antiques, and give everybody a listen.
Friends, we'd love to see you out and about showing off your tans. And yes, we'd even love to see your vacation photos. We'll be showing some of ours...in the form of a CD cover this fall. We are in the homestretch of putting our songs on disc at last. We think it's been worth the wait, and hope you agree when you give 'er a spin. Stay tuned on this site for some preliminary 'singles' as they call them.
